Hull's Seafood owns and operates 2 Commercial Fishing Vessels. One vessel fishes for Snapper,
Grouper, Sea bass and Mackerel, our other vessel fishes for Blue Crabs. We also contract with
other vessel owner’s for their production. Hull's Seafood promotes domestic fisheries and encourages
sustainable fisheries for the future. We take pride in producing the finest Florida fish and crabs.

From a fisherman’s point of view, you must be able to diversify your fishing effort. In my case,
I hold permits, equipment and know-how in several different fisheries. For example: blue crab pots,
sea-bass pots, reef fish (snapper, grouper), king mackerel, and Spanish mackerel. Every year I
participate at different effort levels in each fishery in order to survive.  Success depends on the
weather and the cycle of abundance of that fishery. Some years I may not show significant landings
in one or another fishery. However, the next year my main effort may shift to another fishery and the
landings will be significant. I was born and raised on the Florida water on which I make my living. 
I am devoted to preserving the abundance of fish and also devoted to preserving the
Domestic Commercial Fishing Industry.
